​This website is published by Stichting Lygature (“Lygature”) on behalf of the European Lead Factory initiative. These terms and conditions of use (“Terms of Use”) apply to all visits to and use of this European Lead Factory-website, as well as to all information, recommendations and/or services provided to you on or through this website (the “Information”).

The European Lead Factory 

The European Lead Factory is made out of a consortium of 30 partners who have separate identities but in this website we may sometimes use "European Lead Factory”, "European Lead Factory initiative”, "European Lead Factory Project”, "European Lead Factory Consortium” "European Lead Factory Team”, “the consortium”, “the project”, “the group”, "we" or "us" when we refer to the European Lead Factory or its partners in general or where no useful purpose is served by identifying any particular party.

Information and Liability

The information is for general information purposes only and does not constitute advice. Lygature will not be liable for any damages resulting from the use of (or inability to use) the website, including damages caused by viruses or any incorrectness or incompleteness of the information, unless such damage is the result of any wilful misconduct or from gross negligence on the part of Lygature. Lygature will further not be liable for damages resulting from the use of electronic means of communication, including – but not limited to – damages resulting from failure or delay in delivery of electronic communications, interception or manipulation of electronic communications by third parties or by computer programs used for electronic communications and transmission of viruses.

Linked Sites

This website provides links to external internet sites. Lygature will not be liable for the use or the content of internet sites that link to this site or which are linked from it. Our Privacy Policy does not apply to any collection and processing of your personal data on or through such other external sites.

Intellectual Property

All rights to this website and the Information, including copyrights and other intellectual property rights, are owned by Lygature or licensed to it by the rights’ owner(s). Users are permitted to read the website and the Information and make copies for their own personal use, for example by printing or storing it.

In the event you post unsolicited ideas and/or materials, whether consisting of texts, images, sounds, software, information or otherwise (the “Materials”) on this website or send these to Lygature or the European Lead Factory initiative by e-mail or otherwise, Lygature will be entitled to use, copy and/or commercially exploit such materials to the fullest extent and free of charge and Lygature will not be bound by any confidentiality obligation in respect of such materials. You hereby indemnify and hold Lygature harmless from and against all actions, claims and liabilities, suffered, incurred or sustained by Lygature as a result of the use and/or exploitation of the materials infringing the (intellectual property) rights of any third party or otherwise being unlawful towards a third party.

Commercial use or publication

Commercial use or publication of all or part of documents, photos, film footage, audio records, logos and graphics located on the European Lead Factory website is strictly prohibited without the prior express written authorization from the European Lead Factory. Permission for use must be requested from the European Lead Factory or, for agency or freelance photos (indicated in the photo credit) or for third-party publications, from the agency, publication or individual owner of such material. Modifications to European Lead Factory copyright material are not allowed. Be advised that a proof within context or pre-production sample of the intended publication for commercial use is required before final approval will be considered and an approval given.

Personal and non-commercial use (e.g. academic use)

Documents may be copied on condition that 1) copyright and source indications are also copied, 2) no modifications are made and 3) the document is copied in its entirety. Academic standards apply for citing and referencing sources.

Some documents written by European Lead Factory Communications Team for magazines or journals have been published on the European Lead Factory website with the permission of the publication concerned. All rights are reserved on these documents and permission to copy them must be requested from the publication (the source is indicated within these documents).

Photos, video footage, audio records, logos and graphics may not be used or copied without prior express written authorization. Cookies

This site uses ‘cookies’ to analyse site traffic. Information about your use of the site will be transmitted to Google Inc. in the United States and stored by them. IP-anonymization is active on this website, and your IP address will usually be truncated within the European Union or the European Economic Area. In exceptional cases, the whole IP address will be passed to a Google server in the United States and truncated there. You can refuse the use of cookies via settings in your internet browser.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use will be exclusively governed by Dutch law. All disputes arising in connection with these Terms of Use, including disputes concerning the existence and validity thereof, will be resolved by the competent courts of Utrecht.
